Jamie Hamer

Jamie is a proud Co-Founder of Loxa, and takes Total Ownership for creating a leading UK insurtech in Loxa.
Previously, Jamie has been a sales leader and entrepreneur, having cofounded and exited React News - now Europe's largest paid real estate news service - in 2022 after growing the team to more than 30 and over £10m of revenue.
Before that, Jamie provided exceptional sales results to industry giants such as Procter and Gamble, The Acuris Group and Gartner.
Jamie published a 2021 book on sales (The Exceptional Sales Career), is an award-winning public speaker and held a CFA Charter.

Tori Hutchinson

As Co-Founder and COO, Tori is laser focused on making sure Loxa Overperforms, and does so with customers in mind at all times.
Tori has held senior partnership and project management positions at a number of companies. She has managed sponsorships for two global entertainment industry leaders, Cirque du Soleil and the Ambassador Theatre Group.
She also served as senior account manager at React News, where she was instrumental in the company's growth from a small start-up to a profitable business with over 760 accounts and 38,000 paying users.
Prior to that, Tori worked on a number of initiatives in the UK, APAC, and the US for Monica Vinader, a luxury jewellery brand, with an emphasis on developing global franchise partnerships.

Scott Brown

Scott Brown is a seasoned sales leader with nearly two decades of experience in financial services, having held senior commercial roles at Deutsche Bank, Barclays, J.P. Morgan, Pirum, and S&P Global. Over the course of his career, he has specialised in client relationship management, sales leadership, and business development, consistently delivering growth across highly competitive markets. Scott has built and led high-performing teams, developed strategic partnerships, and driven multi-million-pound revenue opportunities, earning a reputation as a trusted and results-driven professional in the sector.
Now serving as Head of Sales at Loxa, Scott is focused on bringing his expertise in sales strategy and client engagement to the product protection space. Alongside his corporate career, he also writes The Diary of a Man Blog, a creative outlet where he shares reflective and thought-provoking commentary on culture and modern life — offering a glimpse of his curiosity and perspective beyond the business world.

Richard Smith

Richard is a multifaceted tech leader, serving as the CTO, board member, and investor at Loxa. He embodies the Complete Trustworthiness of our tech and compliance.
Building exceptional technology within time and budget constraints is no small feat, but Richard and his team excel in making it not only achievable but enjoyable.
As a dedicated tech entrepreneur, Richard's core lies in development, backed by a rich history in crafting and promoting high-performance technology.
Richard's accomplished team has taken the reins in conceptualizing, constructing, hosting, and promoting high-performance websites and mobile applications for prominent entities such as L’Oreal, Grolsch, and the Department for Education.

George Miller

George, our Head of Insurance & Compliance here at Loxa, is equipped with a stellar skill set and extensive experience in establishing best practices for risk management, governance, operations, and reporting initiatives.
Over the last 20+ years, George has honed his expertise in leading compliance, data and risk teams within insurance, tech and financial institutions.
His journey spans large multinationals such as NatWest Markets and JP Morgan, where he worked closely with regulators to navigate complex governance landscapes, and made significant contributions to scaling tech businesses, including Onsi (formerly Collective Benefits), where he played a pivotal role in driving compliance, streamlining operations and risk management strategies.
At Loxa, George leads the way in implementing the compliance and governance framework of the business, and managing integrations with our insurance partners, showcasing his commitment to upholding industry standards and ensuring regulatory adherence.

Josh Kunz

Josh is a highly skilled Lead Developer at Loxa, with extensive experience in full-stack development and expertise in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and Shopify.
Previously, Josh served as the Head of Development at Formulate Digital, where he refined his proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies.
His diverse technical background includes roles in product design engineering and geographic information systems. Josh is dedicated to creating innovative solutions and advancing technology in the insurance industry.

Louis Dowden

Louis Dowden is a Full Stack Developer at Loxa, bringing extensive experience in Ruby on Rails, various JavaScript frameworks, and Shopify.
He holds a BSc in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence from Tilburg University, which supports his ability to deliver innovative solutions across both front-end and back-end development.
In his previous role at Formulate Digital, Louis honed his technical skills and contributed to numerous successful projects.
His adaptability and problem-solving abilities enable him to tackle complex challenges and contribute effectively to the development team at Loxa.

Jacquita Smart

Jacquita is a highly organised Operations Executive with a degree in Forensic Science and Psychology, which enhances her analytical approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
With extensive experience in Operations, she excels at streamlining workflows, fostering team collaboration, and driving organisational efficiency.
In her previous roles in a VC, Investment Management and a Forensic Service provider, Jacquita played a pivotal role in managing projects, optimising office operations, and supporting high-performing teams.
Her ability to adapt to dynamic environments and her commitment to continuous improvement make her a valuable addition to the Loxa team.

Neil MacQuarrie

Neil’s journey has taken him from Chemistry to the music industry and advertising, honing his expertise in stakeholder management and translating complex technical details into seamless user experiences.
His ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams makes him the perfect fit for our mission at Loxa, Neil will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier service to our clients and ensuring a smooth, efficient integration process across our growing network.
