Furniture Direct Online is a fast-growing furniture retailer based in Wakefield, offering everything from statement sofas to practical home essentials. In July 2024, they teamed up with Loxa to give customers the option to protect their purchases - both online and in-store.

 

A Smooth Integration

Getting up and running with Loxa was quick and painless. The full integration with Furniture Direct Online’s Shopify site took just 48 hours using Loxa’s Shopify App. Even better, the first insurance policy was created within an hour of going live.

Soon after, the in-store team was set up too. Using Loxa’s portal, showroom staff and telesales agents were able to offer product protection as part of the regular checkout flow - no fuss, no friction.

 

What Happened Next

Since launch, things have moved fast:

Over 700 policies sold between July 2024 and May 2025

Steady month-on-month growth as more customers opted in

Peaks in November and March, with strong results even outside typical sales periods such as Black Friday

An attachment rate of 19% was seen over a limited timeframe from February 2025 to April 2025.
